Quercetin – Prävention
Quercetin ist eines der wichtigsten und am besten erforschten Bioflavonoide mit antioxidativen, antiinflammatorischen (antientzündlichen), antiproliferativen, antikanzerogenen (krebshemmenden), antidiabetischen und antiviralen Eigenschaften. Daher gilt der Phytonährstoff als vielversprechend für den präventiven Einsatz bei einer Vielzahl von verschiedenen Erkrankungen, darunter Hypertonie (Bluthochdruck), Atherosklerose (Arteriosklerose/Arterienverkalkung), Infektionskrankheiten, Diabetes mellitus und Diabeteskomplikationen, Asthma bronchiale, Polyzystisches-Ovar-Syndrom (PCO-Syndrom), Tumorerkrankungen, chronisch entzündliche Darmerkrankungen (CED) und Morbus Alzheimer [1-4].
